Old studies with Oil pastel

I thought a lot about this. About showing or not my oldest studies, not "oldest" in the true sense of the word, (because 2011 is not so far away from now), but these were some of the first studies I've ever done with oil pastel. Actually The Ballet Dancer was the first.

 Study Of The Ballet Dancer
Done in 2011, the study of The Ballet Dancer took me no more than 12 minutes. It was drawn on A3 paper dimension, although it's actual size matches an A4, it happens because I used half of the paper to draw the dancer and the other half to draw more three studies of sea shells. It's dimensions are precisely:  25,5 cm x 18,5cm.
Like any other first study that one does in a material one has never used before, I was in doubt in what to draw and so I passed half an hour of the drawing class (back when I was in the artistic School of Soares dos Reis) thinking about what should I draw with nervous decisions passing trough my brain, I suddenly looked back at the oil pastel's box and I figured it out. There in the box was an image drawn in oil pastel with two dancers, as you can see here. I've just changed some of the colours, face and so, but eventually I ended up drawing my first oil pastel study.

Some classes after the Ballet Dancer, in the easels class, I drew a study of a bust.

Study of a Bust Drawn in Yellow
It took me an hour or so, even though it's a study and it's not meant to be drawn with much detail, I should have taken less time to finish it. Back then it didn't happen because I was still learning and wasn't sure on how to work with oil pastel. The dimension of the study is a bit bigger than A3 but much smaller than A2 precisely being: 46cm x 26cm.
